Air plants are the largest genus in the Bromeliaceae family also know as Tillandsia, native to mainly Mexico. In the wild they grow in the treetops and top canopy layer where they don't need soil! Yeah thats right! They grow using tracheids on their leaf like structures to take in all their nutrients and water from the air and rain! We only have a small collection of Tillandsia for sale compared to the size of genus and all are sustainably sourced as some are still collected from the wild. They are fairly easy to look after and do very well on a windowsill near a water source, bathrooms are especially good for the humidity, any questions please ask!
