The Coniogramme emeiensis, also known as the golden Zebra fern, is a stunning perennial with unique striped foliage that thrives in full to half shade and moist soil. It can be grown in containers or the ground, reaching a spread and height of 60cm, potentially more but untested.
 
It is hardy down to -7c and is essentially evergreen; however, the fronds will begin to die back with frost. To encourage new growth, remove these in late winter.
 
Commonly sold as houseplant as if left frost free it will remain evergreen.
